Born in Vancouver, Canada, in 1963, he grew up in Larissa. His work focuses on fiscal policy, economic growth, the labor market, and social inequalities, consistently emphasizing evidence-based analysis and linking that analysis to public discourse.<\/p>\n<p>He studied Economics at the University of Piraeus, obtained a Master\u2019s degree (MA) from Queens College (CUNY) in New York, and received his PhD in Economics from the University of Manchester in 1994.
